Who shall we consider a prophet?

According to the Oxford dictionary, the meaning of the word prophet is: "a person regarded as an inspired teacher or proclaimer of the will of God". So, what could be the 'will of God' ... could it be ... give your enemy the most ferocious death, so that, no one else would dare to stand against you, or, fight in the name of your god, and die willingly and if you do, you will be blessed with several virgins after death, with food and wine in abundance, as a reward for you to fight for your beliefs etc. or, could the 'will of God' be, love & respect your neighbor, make a family, live in peace, love and harmony? Now its upon us to understand, and take for who is the right prophet for our times.

Today, as our lives are becoming more competitive and our struggles to live with the challenges get even stronger, we need to first be inventive, educative and above all, we need to be together as one, in order to face the challenges life has for us. This is time for us to be prepared for natural disasters, which at times, wash away our homes, and creations of our lives, over night. We need to be inventive and use science at its best in order to find a cure for several diseases. We need to look for a solution to stop global warming and save our planet in order to make our world a better place, so that, the following generations after us, will have a safer world to live in love, peace and harmony.

We need to create more jobs for our people, so that, our society can have security for work. We need to create opportunities and a better lifestyle for those old people who have retired from their work and, need to live the rest of their lives in peace. We need to create more schools for the children, so that, every one gets an equal opportunity to be educated and thus, be able to provide to the society with their services. If we carefully look around us, then we will see that, our world needs much more, work, in order to be able to create an educated society who can live together in happiness.

Instead of raging a war on others, in the name of religion or the teachings of some prophet!
