Teachers to block roads to prevent the MLAs from attending Punjab Assembly

A delegation of Punjab State Aides School Teachers Union led by the union president Gurcharan Singh Chahal met SAD core committee members Prem Singh Chandumajra, Tota Singh and Daljit Singh Cheema.

Ravinder Joshi, press secretary of the Union informed that the core committee members heard the various long pending demands of Aided School of the state. He said they agreed upon all the pending demands and give assurance to get these demands accepted from Punjab Chief Minister. He said their demands are pension and gratuity, fulfilling of post lying vacant in Aided School. He said the union will continue its struggle and block the roads on September 30 to prevent the MLAs from attending the assembly. He said only assurance will not serve the purpose.
